Let’s talk about books and copyrights for a second. I recently came across a reel where a fellow author calls out a very specific section of licensing notes in a printed edition of an Indie book, and I have thoughts.  Before I get into that, though, I want to make clear that this is in no way intended to criticize this particular content creator, or what they said, which is why I’m not sharing the reel, or naming the creator. Today (I am told) is a day for Indie authors to show their pride and their self-published books. The hashtag is trending all over, and social media is getting flooded with photos of authors and their books. I like it! So I’m joining in to celebrate having a full-time creative side job which takes up every waking moment I’m not at my 9-5, gives me heart palpitations, and on occasion makes me emotionally unstable. DIY Resources Every Author Should Know About

Greetings and salutations! I come to you a few days late with my DIY post. I apologize for the delay. If you follow me on Facebook, you already know about the miserable plague that has taken hold of my respiratory system. Thank you to all for your well wishes and prayers.
