how to outsmart
a grumpy wish demon
a soul bargain for the ages
All Esmeralda wanted was to treat herself a little with some fancy D&D dice from her favorite online store. Is that so wrong? Apparently so, because instead of her dice, the store accidentally sent her an ancient artifact that summons a wish demon, and now she has to make a wish that will cost her soul or the demon will destroy everyone she loves. Luckily, Esmeralda is an expert on “be careful what you wish for” and with her loyal crew behind her, she comes up with the perfect plan. Either the demon grants her wish and gives her the life she always dreamed of, or he walks away and leaves her soul intact. But which option will he choose?
wish granted
Esmeralda's soul has just bought her unlimited free travel for the rest of her natural life via her own personal teleporting demon. She can go anywhere at any time. She'll just have to pay for it with her soul...
