New Year’s Eve Contest

The time has come! In 24 hours the year will officially be 2011. I don’t know about you but this year has been a rollercoaster for me, with more ups than downs. Still, I am glad to see it go and looking forward to what the next year will bring. I’m not one for making resolutions (I always forget I made them) but my hope for 2011 is that I can enjoy it to the fullest with my family, friends, and loved ones.

To bid farewell to 2010 and kick off 2011 the right way, I am opening this contest for all who are interested. I debated long and hard about what it should be and in the end decided on this:

The excerpt for Blood Moons can be found at this link. The challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to post a comment here with the name of one character from that chapter and something they said.
NOTE: You can only post once. Multiple posts will be deleted.

Three winners will be chosen to receive a download of Blood Moons and one lucky winner will receive a $25 Amazon gift card.

The contest ends at midnight PST (at the end of the big count down) and all the winners will be announced after that so check back for the results tomorrow.

Good luck!

  1. Tristan “Do I look like I give a shit about what Herb wants? Get her the hell away from me!”

*which is how every good romance novel should start out*

  2. Since it has to be something he (Tristan) said “You’re saddling me with a female?”

But I really like the last line “Tristan punched the mattress. This was going to be a shit storm waiting to happen”

Sounds like a winner to me!

Herbert Jones: “The wolf,” he said, eying her doubtfully. “That is maximum maximum security, lady. Ain’t no one there but messed-up motherfuckers.”

Well, doesn't that just sound nice!
